Sync data from Google Sheets to Out of Dark

Once you’ve imported your data from your digital marketing and analytics tools into Google Sheets and scheduled automatic regular updates, it’s easy to sync it with Out of Dark.

1. Access your data in Google Sheets

The first thing you’ll need to do is make sure Out of Dark can access the data in your Google Sheets. To do that, go to Connections in Out of Dark and select the Data sources tab. From there simply sync your Google Sheets by clicking the “Connect” button.Screenshot 2024-07-19 at 11.54.03 AM

2. Authenticate Google Sheets

Once you’ve selected Google Sheets, you’ll be asked to authenticate them. Follow the prompts to sign into your Google account and complete the authentication process. If your files have already been authenticated, you will see the word “Connected”.

4. Manage data and sources

Great job, you’re all set up! Now just sit back and watch the numbers roll in! To update your data manually, click the “Update” button, otherwise your data will be updated according to the schedule you set for your Google Sheets. To include additional data sheets, select Add data and follow the prompts. Manage specific sheets, add more metrics in the Data sources tab, or monitor update history in the Updates tab.
